Get Involved

Ridgeland has a rich history from the Savannah Railroad completed in the 1800s. Originally named Gopher Hill, it was changed to Ridgeland when the Railroad Depot was built on the highest ridge. The Town incorporated in 1900, officially taking the name Ridgeland with a population of 271. Gopher Hill Festival is a celebration of our town's history and culture. Join us for a weekend of fun, food, and entertainment!
